Why I Used Cursor IDE for a Year

I used Cursor IDE for about a year. What kept me there was how everything I needed was already prepared and pre-built — from the first idea to a working website, every step in between was assisted. The chat could read images, understand context, and help me move fast without switching windows. It was the closest thing to having a copilot that actually saw what I saw.

I've since moved on, but honestly, Cursor set the standard. It showed me what an IDE should feel like: less setup, more building. If you haven't tried it, give it a spin — especially if you're tired of context-switching between tools.
